Dominique ambled down the corridor, checking over her shoulder to make sure nobody had seen her. She was supposed to be in class, key words there were supposed to be. Dominique had got bored and slipped out during a lecture. Sighing, she slowed her pace considerably to a nice, leisurely stroll. She lifted her perfectly manicured hand up to her hair, running her long fingers though it. When her hand reached the end, Dominique twirled the ends of her long, blonde hair in between her fingers. Her ice blue eyes stared out of the nearby window, looking longingly at the Black Lake. It looked so serene and inviting, the glossy surface only rippling slightly when a breeze passed. Dominique bit her lip slightly, it was tempting to go out there. But she forced herself to stay in the castle seeing as her next class was around here and the period would be ending soon.
Dominique huffed and sat down on the edge of the window sill. Her hand fell from her hair down to the cold, stone surface of the sill. She stretched her long legs out in front of her as she stared off into nothingness. Her thoughts had been so abstract lately, but always ended with a certain someone. She shook her head, her hair bouncing slightly. Just then she heard footsteps around the corner. Dominique snapped her eyes to the source of the noise, frozen since she was caught unawares.

Charlie looked once again to his hand, it was wrapped with elastic bandages and that made him roll his eyes, he was now coming from the hospital wing and thanks to his little adventure on the broom he didn't need to go to class. He wasn't exactly happy for missing it, he like classes, he was a good student and when he missed one he would work twice as hard later that day to compensate. Moving his hand slowly in a circle, he wasn't able to make it all the way, pain immediately went through his arm and that made him bit his lower lip. That taught him not to goof around on top of a broomstick, he was a great player but trying to turn himself upside down with only one hand was hard even for him.
Charlie found himself on the ground floor, he looked inside the great hall but no one was there, everyone was inside the classrooms. "Boring..." he mumbled to himself as he walked down a corridor, he really didn't knew where he was going and most probably he would end up lost like always, but he ignored the thought and continued. As he turned a corner, a blond head caught his attention a few steps from where he was, he immediately recognized as being a girl, but he had no idea who she was. "Hello" he greeted with a charming smile as he walked by her.

After a few moments, Dominique's eyes came in contact with a very attractive male figure. She noticed that he was not a Hogwarts student, but must have been Durmstrang by the way he was dressed. His hand was covered in bandages tightly; he must have been injured and that must have been the reason for his absence in class. Dominique averted her gaze from his bandaged hand up to the male's face once more. She wasn't exactly expecting company. Everybody at this school was usually so goody-goody about being in class. Well, except for the Slytherin's, but like they would hang out with a Gryffindor. They didn't care if she was veela or not, she was a Weasley.
"Hi," Dominique replied, flashing her smile in return. She pulled in her outstretched legs and crossed one leg over the other. Dominique then removed her hand from the cold stone, dusting the dirt of her palm with her opposite hand. "I'm Dominique. You are?" she questioned kindly. Hey, if she was going to be ditching class, she might as well do it with someone else.

As he got closer to the girl, he took in her looks, she was gorgeous, not only that but she had something that seemed to draw his attention to her completely, it didn't take long for him to realize the girl had Veela blood but she wasn't one completely, the pure bloods had a much stronger power of attraction. For a couple of seconds he said nothing, his light blue eyes were stuck in hers, blinking twice he forced himself to get back to 'earth'. "I'm Dominique. You are?" Raising an eyebrow he got a little confuse due to her outfit, at first sight and with that name he would've think she was a Beauxbaton's student but she had a gryffindor badge "I'm Charlie, Charlie Krum" with a warm smile he stretched his injured hand, hoping the girl wouldn't use a lot of force.
Charlie had to be honest, the girls in that school were extremely nice, he wasn't very used to live among them, Durmstrang was boys only school, which he hated, and the only opportunity he had to be with girls was in the holidays. "Sorry to ask, maybe it's impolite of me, but weren't you suppose to be in class?" he asked with his head tilted and a slightly confused expression.

Dominique noticed him stare into her eyes. She cured in her mind her veela heritage. Not that she wasn't thankful for the beautiful looks she received, but she never knew whether people genuinly liked her. Things always got a little grey in that area. Sure, Dominique had attempted to pick out her true friends from the fake, but it was difficult. She just hoped this guy wouldn't be sucked into the veela vortex that seemed to lure around her being. Dominique had to admit, though she hated to, that she did love the pretty blonde hair she got. "It's great to meet you Charlie," Dominique said, carefully touching his hand to hers. She didn't want to hurt him further.
Dominique chuckled slightly, smiling at nothing in particular. "Yeah, but I got a bit bored and ditched. I know I shouldn't and stuff, but I couldn't help it," she replied with a small shrug. "But couldn't I ask you the same question?" she inquired, raising an eyebrow at him. "Or is it your hand that is your reason for your absence?" Dominique asked, eyeing the bandages. She was curious as to the cause of his accident, or if it was indeed an accident.

"It's great to meet you Charlie,"
Charlie smiled warmly and winked to the blond girl, and she had veela blood, it seemed it didn't had such a big impact in him as it did with most people, he wasn't sure why, maybe because he spent his life seeing those beautiful beasts in quidditch games doing their little routine. In the beginning of course, it was impossible not to fall head over heels as they started dancing in the middle of the field, but with time, their power wasn't as hypnotic as it should, at least for him and his father felt the same. "It's a pleasure Dominique" he claimed as he shook her hand ever so gently, a light pain hit his hand but nothing that he couldn't handle but still made him break their shake.
"Yeah, but I got a bit bored and ditched. I know I shouldn't and stuff, but I couldn't help it," A malicious smile appeared on the boy's face as well as a pleased expression, just like he had found some dirty little secret, it seemed he had encountered a girl slightly different from the ones he had so far "My, my, beautiful and wild, perfect" he stated in a slight flirty way while grinning gently. "But couldn't I ask you the same question?"// "Or is it your hand that is your reason for your absence?" Charlie brought his hand up and tried to move his fingers very slowly, the medicine the nurse had gave him would probably start having effect in some minutes, but for the time being it still hurt a lot "Let me give you some advice, never goof around on top of a broomstick 20 feet from the ground" he claimed rolling his eyes to his own stupidity, he wasn't the type to do things like that, normally he was smart enough to say no when his friends asked things like this from him, but this time, he just wanted to have some fun...bad choice.

Dominique noticed that he didn't seemed as hypnotized by her veela charm anymore, which made her relax considerably. Maybe, just maybe, he would be one of the few who she could actually trust. Maybe Charlie could be one person she knew genuinely liked her and enjoyed her company. Well, if they even became friendly. Dominique had barely spoken two words to the guy and she was already planning their friendship. It was a bit strange, she never did that. "Sorry," she apologized, not meaning to cause pain to his injury. "I hope I didn't hurt you," Dominqiue said, biting her lip softly.
Dominique chuckled at first at his expression once he had processed her words. Dominique shrugged. "Not perfect," she replied with a small grin. "But maybe close to it," she added with a small smirk. Her blue eyes followed his hand as he moved his fingers ever so slightly. She wondered how bad it must hurt him; she had never been truly injured before. The only pain she had ever experienced was heartbreak from friends or boyfriends who were anything but. "Ouch. Too bad. But trust me, I would never get on a broom. I'm not too skillful up in the air. Unless of course you'd like to teach me," Dominique smiled at him.
