Charlie's head popped up from a corner, he looked to one side and then the other, the head disappeared and behind it the boy was standing up in the middle of a corridor with his eyes on a map. He turned it several times, trying to see which was the correct way to look at it, it made no difference, it was still impossible to figure out the way back to the great hall. "Crap" the boy mumbled to himself between teeth as the truth hit him, he was lost. Charlie could be really good in classes and quidditch, can have a natural gift for flirting, but one thing he wasn't born with, was a sense of direction. Back in his school, Durmstrang, only a year ago he had been able to remember all the corridors and he hardly got lost anymore, but now, it was basically going to step one and the worst thing was he knew no one and as people passed by him he asked nothing, instead he pretended he knew well what he was doing.
The young krum kept walking from one side to the other, the map wasn't helping him at all, he looked through a window and for some brief moments the thought of jumping crossed his mind, one thing was for sure, he would get to the great hall in a few seconds. Rolling his eyes he leaned against the cold stone wall and took a silver flask from his robes, nobody was at sight and with that, he took it to his lips and drank a nice portion of dragon vodka, a specialty from home.

Ivi had lost Felicity. The crowds of students had caused the separation and Ivi had attempted to make it to class on her own. She was bumped and jostled by many of the other students. The loud buzz of voices made it hard for her to depict any Beauxbatons students and in any case most of the girls had become besotted with the boys from the other school. Whatever happened to loyalty? Standing together? Girl power? ... All lost for a few cute faces of the opposite sex. Of course while Ivi was thinking all this she hadn't reaslied that the buzz had disappeared completely and she had been left walking up the stairs on her own oblivious to what floor she was heading to. And as if that wasn't bad enough the staircase had moved.
ivi reached the top and decided now would be a good time to ask for help and the portraits, she had found, were good for conversation. "Excuse moi?" she called out gently hoping one of the painting would reply. She was not to know that there was someone else on the corridor. "I was 'oping zat you may be able to give me some..uh...directions. I need to get to ze Great Hall." Ivi flipped her sleek, straight brown hair over her left shoulder as she waited for a reply, her blue eyes were vaccant as she stared ahead of her blankly.[/blockquote]

Charlie took another sip of the vodka inside his flask, his eyes stuck on the wall in front of him, staring blankly, no thought was crossing his mind at the moment. There was really no need to worry about anything at the moment, he got lost frequently, it was basically one of the worst characteristics of his and after so many years he was used to it, eventually someone would help him and show him the way back to the great hall. The problem in this castle was that the staircases seemed to have a life of their own, they decided when was the right time to move and when not, one would think it was rather easy to go to the ground floor, it was just going all the way down, but when stone stairs thought it would be better to place the students in different corridors, things got a little tough.
"Excuse moi?" A female voice with a french accent caught his attention and brought him back to earth. Charlie closed the flask and placed it back in his pocket as he watched the beautiful girl talk to a painting. "I was 'oping zat you may be able to give me some..uh...directions. I need to get to ze Great Hall." Well, one thing was for sure, she was a beauxbaton's student and as lost as he was. He felt a little better knowing that he wasn't the only one making a fool of himself by walking around aimlessly in search for the right way back down. Walking to the girl, he stopped next to her as he greeted her "Hello" he claimed in his Bulgarian accent and with his so famous charming smile "I'm lost too" he added while bitting his lower lip with small embarrassment.

Ivi heard the voice. Male. Great. Trust her to get stuck with a guy who was just as lost as she was. Very subtly she tapped her pocket to see that her wand was still there. Good. Ivi wasn't one to trust someone easily and if she needed to she would attack. Her lack of sight was sometimes an advantage. Ivi's hearing was excellent; the slightest movement and she could tell what someone was up to. "'Onestly, I wish zat things would just stop moving. It would make ze 'ole experience easier... non?" Ivi laughed her melodious laugh. Sure. She didn't trust this guy but she was not an impolite child. Ivi would happily make conversation with him and perhaps that way she could get to the Great Hall without struggle. "I take it zat you are from Durmstrang zen, if you are lost. I'm Ivi. Ivi Marx." Ivi held out a hand in front of her, away from the boy as she couldn't quite make out where he was aas of yet.[/blockquote]

Charlie watched the girl, there was something strange about her, she didn't look directly at him or even made the slightest eye contact, it basically looked like she could care less about his presence there. The girl then tapped her pocket, very smoothly, Charlie only noticed because he was looking slightly down at that moment, he raised an eyebrow as he saw the form of her wand, was this girl preparing to attack or defend from something? Was she questioning his desires? Charlie wanted nothing more from the girl but help to get down and he thought it was a very impolite and rude action to make seconds after meeting someone. He ignored the action but the smile disappeared from his face, he had little patience for people with lack of class and rude.
Crossing his arms he heard the girl talk "'Onestly, I wish zat things would just stop moving. It would make ze 'ole experience easier... non?" Charlie replied with a cold "Yes", normally the boy was extremely nice and he trusted people from the start giving them the benefit of the doubt, but she had screwed things up, did he look that menacing?Or was it because he came from a school that taught dark arts? "I take it zat you are from Durmstrang zen, if you are lost. I'm Ivi. Ivi Marx." Charlie was about to reply when he saw the girl's hand stretched in front of her but nowhere near the place he stood. He tilted his head to the side to see the girl's eyes and he then noticed, the girl was blind? Ok, maybe he shouldn't be so cold with her, but that still wasn't an excuse to prepare herself to defend from him, was he some kind of killer or pervert? "I'm Charlie, Charlie Krum" he replied still a little coldly as he stretched his hand as well and shook hers gently before putting it back.
"So, can you tell us where we should go please?" he asked to the woman in the portrait, her eyebrow was raised at the small scene in front of her. Nodding she pointed left "Go down the corridor, turn right and then left, you shall find a staircase, look out and wait until it is placed in the opening on the right, from there you'll find it easy to go to the great hall".

[[Tad bit of godmode in the second paragraph I do apologize. Happened before you joined ><]] The cold tone was obvious. There was no digusiing something like that. The smile faded from her face easily. 'Well done Ivi. You've managed to make an enemy just because Felicity isn't with you.' She continued to curse herself silently. Ivi had made promises to herself and Fe to learn to be more trusting. Ivi stopped when the hand was in hers and the left. Krum?! No way! This was the Charlie Krum. And oh no, she did not mean that in an impressed way. This was the Charlie Krum that Fe had spoken of. The one that had apparently not taken his eyes off Ivi. Well, the fates had a funny way of planning things out. Any chance that ivi had of making allies with him was now flushed and Felicity would most likely stun her into submission. 'Just tell her that she can fawn over him all she wants now. Allies would never have been a possibility, you're both too different.' There she went shooting things down again. "It's a pleasure to meet you Charlie." Ivi said honestly. She had a deep found respect for his father. AN amzing Quidditch player. She had idolised him since she was young. "I am glad ze portraits are so 'elpful. I only wish ze students were ze same." Some of them did not give any of the students the time of day for simple things such as directions. The fuss of the tournament had taken over and apart from dates to Hogsmeade the schools were banding together in an effort to seem united. "Thank you." Ivi said flashing a pearly white smile at where she had heard the portrait and hoping it had caught it.[/blockquote]

Lily skipped down the hall she knew so well. She had a smile on her face as she waved hello to some of the portraits. Lily kept skipping down the hallway as she looked around. She was on her way to the great hall so she could get some food in her tummy. On her way she discovered a coulpe of students asking a portrait for directions.
"I go here if you both need help." Lily offered. Sure these two students were probably older than her but she knew her way around the school. The female was obviously from Beauxbatons because of her uniform. The same with the male well except for the school. Lily smiled at the two and said "Lily Potter."

"It's a pleasure to meet you Charlie." Charlie nodded and replied "It's a pleasure to meet you too" he claimed, his voice a little warmer but there was till something about the girl that he didn't like, he wasn't sure what, but that previous reaction made him have a not so good idea about her, maybe she wasn't that bad but Charlie wasn't the type to forget easily. "Thank you" he stated to the woman in the portrait with a gentle smile, apparently getting out of there wasn't that hard, but with so many corridors it made it a little complicated. Durmstrang only had four floors but much larger grounds and even there he took a couple of years to get used to the building.
"I am glad ze portraits are so 'elpful. I only wish ze students were ze same." Charlie nodded although he didn't quite agreed with what she said, so far the girls had been extremely friendly with him, of course they had other motives behind it but non the less, friendly. The young Krum looked down the corridor and then back to the girl, he was wondering if he should just go and walk alone to the great hall or go with her. It wasn't that hard of a question if she hadn't been blind, but Charlie couldn't leave someone that needed his help behind. Before he had the chance to reply, a small ginger girl appeared. "I go here if you both need help." //"Lily Potter." Turning his head to her he grinned gently, she was pretty straight forward "It's a pleasure Lily and we would love if you could help us" he stated with a warm smile and wink to the young girl.

Ivi was about to ask Charlie if he would like to head down to the Hall together. If he didn't want to talk to her then it was fine. At least she woudl be with her school mates. Felicity would be there and that was all she really needed to be able to get on with the rest of the day. The another voice joined and once again Ivi tensed up but calmed quickly. "Nice to meet you Lily." A Potter? Once again ivi was not interested in her for her name but the History that stood behind it. Books had been witten about her father and his triumphs and Ivi had found and read most of them with growing interest. "I'm sure we would appreciate any 'elp we could get." The smile had not left her face and was quite geniuine.

Lily smiled at the guy. She looked to the girl and smiled as well. She extended her hand to the guy and spoke again. "And you both would be?" Lily asked. She didn't want to seem rude by not askin gtheir names. "Where is it that you both are going?" Lily asked them. She would take them anywhere really. Lily wondered if they had entered their names as well.
"So what year are you both in?" She asked. They were deffinately older than her and she knew it. But what year was not something she could tell based off their looks. "I'm in third year myself." She spoke quietly.

Only some moments after the girl's last name hit him, anyone that could read or hear knew about Harry Potter, Charlie's father had competed against him in the last tri-wizard tournament and he even dated her friend Herminone Granger. The young Krum had heard the story many times but he never was as impressed as most people were, yes, he had done a good job in defeating Lord Voldemort, but you wouldn't see Charlie throwing confetti in the air, it belonged to the past and that was were it should stay. "I'm Charlie Krum" he stated extending his hand and shaking the girl's gently "We're going to the great hall, is there a possibility of you taking us the closest to it?" he asked while bitting his lower lip.
"So what year are you both in?" Charlie laughed gently, the girl seemed to have a lot of questions and liked to talk, "Seventh, but I'm from Durmstrang" he replied with a gentle smile, he had no idea what year the beauxbaton girl was, they hardly talked, aside from her name and her blindness he knew nothing about her.

Ivi laughed silently as a few questions came from the girl. Curiosity was something Ivi encouraged as she herself constantly asked questions and lsitened to the answers. "Ivi Marx." she answered. Charlie had taken over the question to where they were headed and the Ivi chimed in echoing the year. "I am a seveth year also." Ivi had had slight stress and panic about visiting Hogwarts due to it being NEWT year but she had been assured many a time that things would not change and that the exams would simply be held here rather than back at Beauxbatons. Lily smiled as they introduced themselves. "Wow seventh yers. You're lucky. Getting out of school this year." She said. When Charlie asked her if she could take them close to the Great Hall she smiled. "Close? I can lead you sraight there." Lily offered. She looked between the two and sighed.
"Do either of you know what you want to do?" Lily asked. She must have been asking too many questino but she was curious. She liked meeting new people. Especially if they were from other schools. She started to walk down the hall assuming they would follow her.

"Wow seventh yers. You're lucky. Getting out of school this year." Charlie nodded with a thoughtful look, indeed, it was quite nice to final get out of school. Seven years were more than enough to create a good wizard, to prepare him for the life outside the stone walls, but the young Krum still hadn't decided what he would do when the school ended, one thing was for sure, even though he was as good as his father was in quidditch, that wasn't the future he wanted, no, not even close. He loved the sport and enjoyed playing, but that wasn't something he would want to do the rest of his life, he knew he could do much more and the thought of working in the ministry never left his head, the problem was, where exactly in the ministry? There were a lot of departments and he was unsure of which to choose. Maybe an Auror, the minister's personal adviser or something of the sort. The thing that would please him more would be field work, traveling around the world, searching for things and helping others. Thankfully, there was still a year in front of him, so he still had time to figure out his path.
"Close? I can lead you straight there." "Thank you very much" he stated with a charming smile"That's really nice of you" he added putting his hand gently on Ivi's back to tell her they were going to start walking down to the great hall. Her action could've pissed him a little but that didn't meant he wouldn't take in consideration her problem. "Do either of you know what you want to do?" Charlie laughed gently "I have no idea" he confessed, everybody expected him to follow his father's footsteps, to be one of the most famous quidditch players in the world, but that would never happen.

Yes. The last year. There was so much pressure though. Time was ticking away and the end of education was drawing ear. Ivi was scared to say the least. She had a few idea's about what she wanted to do but whether they were possible she wasn't so sure. It never deterred her though, just made Ivi all the more determined to do well. Prove those who doubted her wrong. Ivi felt the hand on her back and she knew they were moving "Thank you." she said kindly. Ivi began to walk slowly along keeping and ear on the other sets of footsteps. "I want to be an Auror... but if zat dream does not work I would be 'appy in ze department of mysteries." SHe wouldn't divuldge that she had wanted to go into QUidditch. The game was not pissible when blind she had learnt that the hard way in her third year.[/blockquote]
