Renee was sitting out on the lawns. She was wearing part of her uniform. It was a short plaid skirt, a blouse, a tie, and a jacket. She had a head band in her hair, but her long blond hair still flew back with the small breeze. She was staring at the, what looked like, never ending lawn. The grass was so lush and it seemed to go on forever. In the distance, she could see the sparkling lake. In Paris, everything was always beautiful, no matter what the season. Everything seemed perfect. But, she wasn't in Paris anymore, she was here, at Hogwarts. This was her new home for the time being.
The grass around her tickled her hands. She saw leaning back, admiring the scenery. Everything was shining from the light of the sun. It looked great, nothing like home though. She had to stop thinking that. She was here now, and she was going to be here for a while. Her parents were even thinking of having her spend a year or two here, as an exchanged student or something. She would be okay with that, she thought. She just sat there, taking everything in.
her outfit, and she is wearing UGG boots.

Dominique wandered out aimlessly into the lawn. She was rather bored at the moment and would love for something to do. The bright light hit her blonde hair as she stepped onto the green grass. People lingered around the lake, taking in the nice day. Biting her lip, Dominique examined the grounds trying to find a familiar face. When she failed, Dominqiue decided to try and make a new friend, something she enjoyed doing. Sighing, she ran a hand through her hair and started walking around.
Then, in the distance, Dominique noticed a person alone. By the looks of it the girl was a Beauxbatons student. Hey, the whole point of this competition was inter school companionship or something like that, right? Dominique strode up to the blonde girl and smiled at her. "Hi, mind if I join you?" she asked.

Renee heard footsteps and a voice behind her. She turned her head to see a blond haired girl standing behind her. She looked really pretty, probably part veela. She smiled up at her and said in her French accent, "Yeah sure. Its more your school then mine." She could tell the girl wasn't a Beauxbatons student because she had never seen her around her school. She saw the girl when she had come to Hogwarts. She ran a hand through her long blond hair and threw it behind one shoulder. This didn't help much, but whatever. The wind wasn't that bad, not so bad that her hair was all over the place. If it was like that, she would be inside.
She let out a sigh. "Everything is so, how do you say it, merveilleux here."She said. She often did this. She couldn't think of the English word, so she would speak in part French. "Sorry about the part French. I do that a lot."She said, trying to take down the accent a notch. She smiled at the girl. "I'm Renee DeMonte by the way."She stated, introducing herself to the girl. She looked nice. Renee could normally tell if the person was nice or not, just by looking at them. It was a gift. She could just tell this girl would be a friend.
[[sorry its really bad.

Dominique smiled at the girl and sat down gently. She felt the softness of the lush grass underneath her bare legs. She fixed her school skirt appropriately and looked off in the distance for a moment. This was a nice spot, the lake looked beautiful from this angle. "Well, I wouldn't want to intrude if you wanted to be alone or something," she shrugged. Dominique noticed her French accent which confirmed her belief, along with the uniform and previous comment, that she was a Beauxbatons student.
Dominique grinned and glanced around again. "Yeah, its really nice here," she said, taking the word to mean marvulous. If it didn't, well she might sound like an idiot. But Dominique was pretty confident in translating the word correctly. "It's okay. You're used to speaking French all the time, just like the Durmstrang students are used to German." Dominique remembered an encounter with a Durmstrang guy who said words in German all the time. "I'm Dominique Weasley. It's nice to meet you, Renee." Dominique liked the girl and thought they may actually become, at the least, good aquaitances.

Renee smiled as the girl sat down beside her. "No, I was actually looking for someone new to meet. It's hard meeting people here, everything is so busy. Your not intruding."She said to the girl. She didn't want her to feel as if she had ruined Renee's moment or something. Renee smoothed out her skirt for something to do. She gazed out to the glittering lake. The way the light hit, it looked like something right out of Paris. She had to stop thinking about Paris. She was here now.
"Yeah. Its kinda hard you know. Coming to a new place, not knowing anyone. But luckily I know some English. I came here once a few years ago and learned some."She explained. "And now that I've been here for a while, I'm talking like a pro. Except for the accent."She said with a shrug. She couldn't lose it. It was who she was. She wanted people to know she was French. But sometimes they thought they had to speak slow and loudly for her to understand. "It's very nice to meet you Dominique."She said, flashing her famous smile. "You have really pretty hair."She said randomly. She couldn't help it, the girl was very beautiful.

Dominique smiled and replied, "Yeah. Everybody always seems to have someplace to be or someone to see. Things are really hectic at the moment, but hopefully things will relax a little as the year goes on." She thought to all her friends who always had something to do lately, leaving Dominique all by herself more than she would like. But it also gave her a chance to talk to the students from foreign schools. So, although she wanted to hang with her friends, being deserted had its upsides. Well, in this situation it did.
"I can imagine it's a bit difficult. Hopefully you don't run into the wrong crowds who don't really want you here or are just plain rude. And if you do, I hope you don't judge everybody on them. There are more people excited for your arrival than those displeased," Dominique said. "Well, the accent is a part of you. Nobody expects you not to have it. It's actually a good thing you have it." Dominique wasn't sure how to describe how it was a good thing, but it was. She absentmindedly ran her hand through her hair when Renee mentioned it. "Oh, thank you. It's part of my veela heritage," she said, sounding displeased. She wasn't exactly thrilled about being part veela. "Yours is really nice too. It flows pretty in the wind."

Renee nodded. "It's probably just all the craziness of the tournament. Everyone is being really crazy about it. Oh well, I guess it's cool though. How we get to meet new people and everything." She said shrugging. This competition was great and all, but sometimes she wished it wasn't going on. All her friends from school were going around with all their new friends. Ah well, she would get over it in time.
Renee totally understood what she was talking about. She had met some people who totally didn't like her at all, and were very mean. But some people were being rather nice, like Dominique. "I hope they want me here. I don't want them, uh what's the word. Well lets just say I don't want to get attacked or something." She said, mentally hitting herself for forgetting more words. "Thank you, I guess it's alright." She said, giving her hair a fluff. "Why don't you sound pleased to be part velea?" She asked her. She knew loads of people that would kill to be part veela. She was a little veela, but not too much. She naturally looked like a vela, most French girls did, it was just their thing.

Dominique nodded her head in agreement. "Things aren't usually like this. If I were to come out here at this time any other year I've attended here, people would be relaxing like this everywhere. Dinner would tak an hour or so because people are just so wrapped up in talking and joking. Things are different. But the whole meeting new people thing is pretty cool," Dominique said. It was then, when she was reminiscing about previous years, that she remembered sadly that this was her last year here at Hogwarts. She would be leaving this castle soon enough, only to feel nostalgia for these lazy days.
Dominique rolled her eyes. "Some of them are real jerks, don't pay attention to them. The worst they can do is pull some kind of immature prank on you. And the only way it will satisfy them is if you react. I've learned to ignore them and, if they attempt something they think is funny, I act nonchalant until I'm out of their sight. That way they can't feel all proud of themselves." Dominique then sighed slightly. "Well, I know many people would kill to be a veela and stuff, but it's different when you are one. I can't just turn off the veela charm, so I don't know if people truly like me for me sometimes, or because I'm a veela. Picking friends becomes difficult and I've experienced too many broken hearts over it too."
